The Kerrs Creek Ruritan Club met at New Monmouth Presbyterian Church on July 15. John and Sarah Burleson were guest speakers. They talked about birds in Lexington and Rockbridge area and shared pictures. They participate in the Christmas Bird Count. The program is through the Audubon Society that looks for species and numbers of birds.
The club will be parking cars at Virginia Military Institute home football games.
