After church service in the summer months, the congregation of High Bridge Presbyterian Church is enjoying “lemonade on the lawn” provided by the deacons. Members also contribute cookies.
On Aug. 24, High Bridge will celebrate its annual service at Cave Mountain Lake at 10 a.m. A covered-dish luncheon follows and guests are invited to attend.
The Natural Bridge Food Pantry will open promptly at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16, and close at 11 a.m. The High Bridge congregation is collecting canned fruit for the food pantry in August.
