A new artist, Jaime Holland, is exhibiting her paintings and drawings at Nelson Gallery for the month of August.
Her tastes and interests are very eclectic – with pieces that vary from intricate-decorative design to realistically painted landscape and horse paintings. Not surprising, this show represents an artist who has had much experience and loves variety. She grew up in Alexandria for early school, later attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia for painting and graphic design instruction. Her favorite artists (and influencers) include such artists as Paolo Veronese, Mary Cassatt and Walter Varley.
She lives in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., and has four grown children.
