Gianna McKeeman of Vesuvius was named to the dean’s list at James Madison University for the spring of 2025. Jordan Imler of Fairfield also was named to the dean’s list at Cederville University for the spring of 2025.
Last Sunday, July 27, at Vesuvius Baptist Church we celebrated Pastor Tyler Clem’s birthday. What a great day it was. But the biggest surprise for him was that his parents were able to attend. They traveled from Kentucky to celebrate with him. They have not seen each other for two years as Pastor Tyler and his father both fight cancer. Please keep these two men in you prayers.
Sunday, Aug. 3, the church had a baptismal service. It was great seeing these young people giving their life to the Lord. The message was for us who have believed in Christ for a period of time, to remember how it felt to receive him into our life and then to be baptized in water and the Holy Spirit.
