The Goshen First Aid Crew is sponsoring a Community Safety Day this Saturday, Aug. 2, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 9850 Maury River Road.
A demonstration by Life Guard will take place from 11 a.m. to noon. Project Horizon, the Goshen Volunteer Fire Department, and the Rockbridge County Sheriff’s Office will also be there doing demonstrations.
There will be a REVIVE class from 2 to 3 p.m. for the general public and a REVIVE class from 4 to 5 p.m. for first responders.
The Goshen First Aid Crew will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers, fries and cold drinks at the concession stand.
