The Western Augusta Steam and Gas Association will sponsor the annual tractor ride in Rockbridge County Saturday Aug. 9.
The ride will depart the Palmer Community Center at 10 a.m. and will travel some of the scenic back roads through the Spring Valley area. The ride will make a quick detour through the Kendal of Lexington community for its residents.
Back on the route, the ride will continue on to Lake Robertson and stop at approximately 12:30 p.m., at which time the participants will be provided a catered lunch. During this time the tractors can be viewed by the public.
The ride will depart Lake Robertson at approximately 2 p.m. for the return trip back to the Palmer Community Center by Va. 251 and Blue Grass Trail.
