New Monmouth Presbyterian Church had the pleasure of hearing from people sharing their favorite hymns on Sunday. Folks were encouraged to think about whether they have a favorite hymn that speaks to them each time it’s sung, one that evokes memories or inspires dreams, bringing them closer to the Lord each time they revisit it.
On Sunday, John Burleson, Deb Jarrett and Tim Hodges shared their reflections on a favorite hymn. The congregation was invited on their journeys into the past and present through hymns, connecting to our God. Thank you for sharing!
An ice cream social was held at the church pavilion on Sunday evening with the youths gathering early to help prepare ice cream. Thank you to Tim and Janeen Welsh for organizing this delicious opportunity for fellowship.
