The Worship Ministry of Manly Memorial Baptist Church will present Down Home Singin’ on Sunday, Aug. 3, at 6 p.m.
The Band of Brothers, bluegrass musicians Wyatt Wood, Daniel Eppard, Nick Goad and Gaven Largent, will share bluegrass standards such as “Crying Holy unto the Lord,” “Two Coats,” “The Darkest Hour Is Just Before Dawn” and “Solid Rock.” The band will also lead the congregation in singing gospel music treasures like “Victory in Jesus,” “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms” and “When We All Get to Heaven.”
There is no admission charge, and the sanctuary doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Following the service, there will be a dessert fellowship in the fellowship hall.
