July 14 - According to a post from Alert Rockbridge yesterday, the Rockbridge County Courthouse will be closed to the public for the next several days due to a significant water leak that has impacted the facility.
County maintenance teams are currently addressing the issue, and the courthouse will remain closed until it is deemed safe and fully operational. Updates regarding the reopening schedule will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.
The courts are currently working on alternate locations to conduct business. Rockbridge General District Court and Rockbridge Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court will be closed Monday, July 14.
Rockbridge Circuit Court will be holding grand jury in the Buena Vista Courthouse Monday, July 14.
