The Fourth of July weekend was once again a busy one in the Rockbridge area, with events stretching from last Wednesday’s community picnic offered by CornerStone Bank through Thursday’s Freedom Food Festival, to Friday’s children’s bike parade in Lexington and fireworks in Buena Vista, to the annual Balloons Over Rockbridge festival Friday and Saturday and Raphine Fire Department’s ice cream social and fireworks Saturday evening.
