The Fourth of July children’s bike parade once again drew hundreds of children to downtown Lexington. Officials with Main Street Lexington, which coordinates the event, estimate that 700-800 children participated, not including parents and other family members. The organization gave away over 400 decoration bags although a lot of participants showed up right before the parade started with their bikes already decorated and ready to go.
