Thank you to Rockbridge Area Republican Committee (RARC) for hosting the wonderful Flag Day reception June 14 at the Virginia Horse Center.
It was a fun and patriotic celebration commemorating the adoption of the Stars and Stripes as our National Flag on June 14, 1777.
Similar to July 4, June 14 is a great way to remember and recognize our nation’s incredible history of freedom, liberty and democracy.
Our flag is a symbol recognized throughout the world that America is truly the “Land of the Free and Home of the Brave.”
