The Buena Vista Police Department hosted its annual summer camp over the past two weeks, with participants getting to learn about the roles of the many first responders in the Rockbridge County area and the equipment they use. Among the many first responders who brought their expertise to the camp were Corporal Hill and K9 Maverick with the BVPD (far left), EMTs and firefighters with the Buena Vista rescue squad and fire departments (center and bottom center), and members of the Rockbridge County Sheriff’s Office’s Special Response Team (above).
