Trivia question: Who was the only King that was President of the United States? (Answer in the article) Recently Democrats and their allied organizations sponsored meaningless and rather silly No King Day political rallies to protest the Donald Trump administration. In light of the fact, Trump was elected by a vast majority of the voters and greatly increased his electoral college vote total over the last time he won the Presidency.
In the 2016, election, Hillary Clinton/ Tim Kaine campaign came up with the phony Steele Dossier that supposed had proof Trump was working with the Russians to win the election to use as an “October Surprise” to swing the election in the last month. It was so unbelievable even the most left-wing networks kept it at arm’s length and figured Clinton/Kaine would win without it.
When Trump won, the Steele Dossier was dug out and Democrats tried to use it to impeach Trump, only to have it proven to be largely fiction and the Clinton campaign ended up paying a fine for misusing campaign funds for the so-called dirty dossier.
Clinton, out of office, was under no legal obligation to acknowledge the dossier was a campaign created attack document but Senator Kaine still in office, if not a legal obligation, had a moral obligation as a federal employee to acknowledge the truth about the phony Steele document rather than have the Congress spend millions of dollars of taxpayers money investigating this phony document, but he failed to do so.
In the 2000 election, Democrats nominated former Vice President Joe Biden even over objections of his former boss, former President Obama. We now know Obama questioned Biden’s age and mental state to handle the job.
As the American public watched Biden fumble making speeches, often seem confused and accident prone, and even attempted to shake hands with an invisible person! As it became more and more obvious the President was not all there, the Democrats still insisted “he is sharp as a tack” and “runs circles around staff members half his age.”
Then came the debate between Trump and Biden and the public saw just how out of it Biden appeared to be. Instead of having primaries to replace him, Democrats anointed Kamela Harris and her choice, the weird Governor from Minnesota as her running mate in a monarchy style rather the democratic republic tradition.
After four long years of Democrats lying about Biden’s physical and mental health, massive, wasted spending, and lying about the open borders policy that allowed millions of illegal immigrants to flood into the country, many Americans no longer trusted or believed in the Democrats and their hand-picked candidates.
Since the election, the Trump administration has closed the border and did it without a so-called phony “immigration reform bill” that would have legalized all the illegals in the country. He did it by simply enforcing existing immigration law and closed the border. He next had federal agents go after illegal immigrants that had committed crimes, had standing deportation orders enforced, and members of international criminal organizations like MS13 rounded up and deported.
Democrats have referred to ICE and other immigration enforcement officers who risk their lives capturing criminal illegal immigrants as “gestapo agents,” showing a total ignorance of what the Nazi secret police were like and did. Some Democrats have even called for people to violate the law and even identify ICE and other immigration officials for harassment or even violence.
With regard to the illegal immigrants, that have not violated laws other than being in the country illegally, the Trump administration has offered them free transportation back to their country of origin and give them $1,000 to re-establish themselves back home and with the opportunity to apply to come back to America legally. However, if they decide to not self deport, they run the risk of being arrested, fined and deported with no cash and no opportunity to even be admitted to United States again.
The Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigration Responsibility Act of 1996 provides for “expedited removal” of illegal immigrants. This law states that illegal immigrants can be deported almost immediately without going through a court hearing if caught within two years of the illegal crossing or if they were here longer than two years but had been deported before and illegally reentered the country. This was a law passed and signed by President Obama. This is the law the Trump administration is now enforcing.
Cutting government waste, fraud and abuse as well as rounding up and removing criminal gang members that have committed crimes or knowingly overstayed their visas is just following the law and hardly the actions of a king.
As for the trivia question, America has only had one King serve as President and that was Gerald Ford Jr. He was named Leslie King Jr. when he was born in Omaha, but his mother divorced his father moved from Nebraska to Michigan. She remarried and her new husband, Gerald Ford, was the only real father he knew. In respect, he had his name legally changed to that of his stepfather and he became Gerald Ford Jr., and thus was the only “King” to ever serve as president of the United States.
