Can you believe it, we’re in the last full week of June, and there’s a lot going on this weekend. On Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Natural Bridge Christian Fellowship Church will sponsor a Bridge Kids Bash at Knick Memorial ball field in town. There will be food, a basketball tournament, gaga ball, face painting, a bounce house and lots of fun for the whole family.
After a day of fun at the ball field, come over to Locher Pavilion for some good music with Southpaw. Gates open at 5 p.m. and music begins at 6 p.m. The event is free to all.
Farmers markets are popping up everywhere these days. The Glasgow Farmers Market is experiencing an unusual slow start this season. We are hopeful that the arrival of garden products will bring more vendors and customers. They are still looking for vendors with baked goods who can participate on a regular basis. There are vendors with art work, wax melts, tie-dye products, wind chimes, etc. They are open from noon to 4 p.m. on Fridays, except the second Friday of the month when the hours are 2 to 6 p.m.
