Calling all ukulele fans! There will be a meeting of those interested in learning to play the ukulele at Joann Blouin’s house on Thursday afternoon. Let Joann or Hope Bird know if you are interested in joining in!
Thank you to the Rev. Nancy Clark for giving the sermon again Sunday morning at New Monmouth Presbyterian Church and thank you to Laura Hotinger for leading the music.
Hope Bird was blessed to have her son, Drayton Bird, along with his wife Anna and their children with her this weekend. They will be re-stationed in Kentucky. Pray for them as they make this transition to a new place.
Donna Fix reports that the young man, Noah, whom we have been praying for has a break and is at St. Jude’s summer camp. He will have more scans the middle of July.
Alanna Conner was happy to say that she has worked at McDonald’s for eigh years.
Reid Mackey was happy to share that he attended the Rockbridge High School 60th class reunion Saturday.
Loretta Persinger gave praises that she, Marsha Mayhew, and Karen Duff had a safe trip to the Creation Museum and Ark encounter. There was rain coming home, but as they got off the interstate, there was a beautiful rainbow. Praise God for safe travels!
