The Caravan of Fools, an acoustic band from Rockbridge County, will perform on the meadow stage at Boxerwood this Friday, June 27, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Band members are (from left) Burr Datz, Lee Sauder, Holly Ostby and Ben Worth. The gate opens at 5:30 p.m. so that early arrivals can meet up with friends to picnic, socialize or get a bite to eat. A food truck will be serving food for purchase. Admission is free for children and current Boxerwood members and $5 per adult for non-members. There’s no charge for parking in the field. There is dedicated handicapped parking and the terrain is suitable for wheelchairs. Attendees may bring their own beverages, lawn chairs and blankets. Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome as long as owners clean up after them. In the event of rain, concerts will be postponed.
