Winners in the 2025 Maury River Fiddlers Convention, held June 13 and 14 at Glen Maury Park in Buena Vista, are as follows: Bluegrass band – Common Ground, first; Petered Out Pickers, second; Pink Fiddle and Bluegrass, third.

Old-time band – Up Jumped Trouble, first; Rocking Chair Pickers, second; Action Jackson and the Supernaturals, third.

Bluegrass fiddle – Ed McCoy of Greenville, W.Va., first; Crystal Shipley of Paw-Paw, W.Va., second; Mary Dorss of Bedford, third.

Old-time fiddle – Caleb McAllister of Fincastle, first; Kaley Kyger of Rockingham, second; Raistlin Brabson of Boones Mill, third.

Autoharp – Ronnie Burroughs of Keysville, first; Gaylon Ryan of Smithfield, second; Bob Meagher of Richmond, third.
