June 10, 2025 Editor, The News-Gazette: Ben Cline stated in his letter dated June 2, 2025 to me, “the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, the bill which I supported and voted for, would extend the tax relief enacted in 2017 for families … ” He wrote, “this bill provides adequate funding to complete the wall at our southern border.”
Ben Cline, did you not know 10 million people lose health care coverage under this “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” to include my two great-granddaughters born with major medical issues and in need of Medicaid?
Ben Cline, did you not know hundreds of thousands of children will go hungry through the removal of SNAP? How many of those children are in your district, Mr. Cline?
Ben Cline, did you not know our grandchildren will be saddled with a large tax bill as the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” will add billions of dollars to the country’s debt?
Ben Cline, are you one of the many congresspersons that didn’t read the bill before voting for it?
