The Rockbridge Retired Teachers Association awarded two scholarships this year, one each to a Rockbridge County and Parry McCluer high school senior.
RRTA’s Kathy Burant presented RCHS senior Parker Dameron a $750 scholarship at the school’s Senior Awards Night. Dameron will be heading to Bridgewater College this fall to major in education.
Mary Jane Mutispaugh delivered a $750 scholarship to Ethan Koonce at Parry Mc-Cluer’s Senior Awards Night. He will be attending Virginia Tech and majoring in music education.
