Mountain Gateway Community College invites the public to participate in a regional conversation about the future of workforce development in southwest Virginia.
The Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Industrial Skilled Trades Work Group will meet on Wednesday, June 11, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Moomaw Center on MGCC’s Clifton Forge campus.
Hosted by GOVA Region 2 staff in partnership with Mountain Gateway Community College, this event is part of the planning process for the 2025 GO Virginia Growth & Diversification Plan. The session will focus on identifying regional needs, opportunities, and priorities in manufacturing, healthcare, and skilled trades.
Anyone with an interest in workforce development — including employers, educators, students, parents, and residents — is encouraged to attend this free event and share their ideas.
