Christina Lowry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Lowry of Lexington, was recently promoted to the rank of major. She is an Army officer with the Judge Advocate Group (JAG) in Army Headquarters, Tokyo, Japan.
Major Lowry is a graduate of Washington and Lee University and received her law degree from William and Mary Law School.
Prior to attending law school, she was a member of the 10th Mountain Division out of Fort Drum, N.Y., and has served in Korea and Germany prior to attending law school.
Since graduation she has served at Fort Sill, Okla., before her current assignment with Army headquarters in Tokyo.
