On May 20, the Kerrs Creek Ruritan Club honored its two scholarship recipients for 2025. Receiving the $2,000 Kerrs Creek Memorial Scholarship was Dalton Woody, who will be attending the Nashville Automotive Diesel School. Receiving the $2,000 Kerrs Creek 85th Anniversary Scholarship was J.P. Welsh, who will be attending Appalachian State University. The club raised the funds for these two scholarships with their 2024 golf tournament. This year’s golf tournament will be held on June 13th at the Lexington Country Club.
