Parry McCluer Theatre invites audiences to step into a world of pure imagination with its upcoming production of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” the musical adaptation of Roald Dahl’s beloved story.
Performances will take place at Chandler Hall at Southern Virginia University this Thursday and Friday, May 29-30, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, May 31, at 2 and 7 p.m.
Join Charlie Bucket on an unpredictable journey through Willy Wonka’s magical chocolate factory, where each golden ticket holder gets far more than they bargained for. This colorful, highenergy musical shines with catchy songs, dazzling visuals, and a timeless message about the power of kindness and imagination, said a spokesperson.
Tickets are available for purchase at Coiner Country Store or at the door prior to each performance. This show is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.
