Due to thunderstorms, the Pioneer District track and field meet that was scheduled for last Wednesday at Giles High School was canceled.
The Parry McCluer High School track and field teams, along with all other athletes entered in the district meet, automatically move on to the Region 1C meet, which will take place on Monday at Giles, located in Pearisburg. Field events will start at 10 a.m., with races scheduled to start at 11:15 a.m.
