Glasgow

Carolyn Bradley, 258-2720

The Farmers Market was cut short last Friday, shortly before the big storm literally blew through. They will be open this Friday from noon to 4 p.m. We are still seeking vendors with home baked items, eggs, meats (frozen), veggies, fruits and handmade crafts and original art work. They have a great facility to sit under, and there’s no fee to set up.

Glasgow Baptist Church will soon start running its church van to pick up folks who need a ride to worship services. Also, the first week in June they will be starting a demo on the current bathroom facilities to remodel them to make them handicap accessible. During this construction period, there will be no Sunday school. Folks are asked to join together at 10:30 am for a time of fellowship with coffee and snacks, then assemble in the sanctuary at 10:45 for morning worship. There are bathrooms located in the basement social area if needed.
