Both the Rockbridge County High School baseball and softball teams won home doubleheaders against Valley District rival Rocktown on Monday evening in Lexington.
In baseball, RC (7-10 overall, 5-7 district) won the first game 2-1 and the second game 4-2. Before the game, the Wildcats honored their five seniors: Brady Edwards, Clay Irvine, Drew Potter, Nolan Stines and JP Welsh III.
In softball, RC (7-8, 5-6) won the first game 16-1 and the second game 16-0. Before the game, the Wildcats honored their two seniors, Cameon Terry and Parker Dameron.
Both RC teams are scheduled to continue district action at home against Broadway on Friday at 5 p.m. before concluding the regular season at home against Turner Ashby on Saturday at 11 a.m.
