Monday, May 19 -- The Rockbridge County High School girls lacrosse team held off Patrick Henry for an 11-8 win in Lexington.
Anna Nye tallied four goals, three assists, 12 draw controls and five caused turnovers as the Wildcats (10-2) claimed their ninth consecutive victory. Lola Mulitalo added four goals and one assist for RC, while Ruby Goodhart scored twice and Emma Johnson notched two assists
Ruby Kahoun paced the Patriots (9-4) with four goals. Addison Gibson had two goals and two assists for PH, while Kensington Davis made nine saves in goal and Ainsley Gibson posted four caused turnovers.
RC will wrap up the regular season with a 6:30 p.m. contest at Jefferson Forest on Wednesday.
