The Relay For Life of Rockbridge County organizers invite community members, volunteers and cancer survivors to attend a planning meeting on Thursday, May 15, at Frank’s Pizza in Lexington, beginning at 6 p.m.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the upcoming Relay For Life event, join planning committees, and share ideas to ensure another successful year of fundraising and community engagement.
“We’re excited to meet at Frank’s Pizza, a local favorite, to build momentum for this year’s Relay,” said Robin Hartless Moore, event chair. “Whether you’ve participated before or are brand new, your voice and energy are welcome.”
The 2025 Relay For Life marks a significant milestone as the national event celebrates its 40th anniversary. Rockbridge County’s local Relay is proud to honor survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back through funding groundbreaking research and patient support services provided by the American Cancer Society.
The local 2025 Relay For Life event will be held Saturday, Sept. 6, at Central Elementary School from 6 to 9 p.m.
