May 5, 2025 Editor, The News-Gazette: Area residents and landowners have an opportunity to read how the owners of Goshen Scout Reservation plan to improve the management of Lake Merriweather and, in turn, water quality in the Maury and Little Calfpasture rivers. But the opportunity won’t last long.
Scouting America National Capital Area Council posted its draft lake management plan for public review and comment. The comment period runs through May 31.
