The National Day of Prayer was celebrated in both Buena Vista and Lexington this past Thursday. ABOVE, at the event sponsored by the Buena Vista Ministerial Alliance at the new Town Square pavilion, Pastor Galen Combs speaks. That evening, the day was observed at Randolph Street United Methodist Church, where prayers were offered for unity and peace for the nation from the Jewish, Christian, and Islamic faith traditions.
