The Parry McCluer High School girls tennis team earned a 6-3 win in the first showdown this season with local rival Rockbridge County on Monday evening at the Lexington Country Club courts. It was the Wildcats’ Senior Day. The story and photos will be in our May 14 newspaper. The story on last week’s action will be in our May 7 newspaper. PM (5-3) is scheduled to play host to RC (0-10) for the Fighting Blues’ Senior Day on Friday, May 16, at 5 p.m. at the Southern Virginia University courts in Buena Vista.
