Senior forward Madelyn Jones scored two goals, including her 50th career goal, to lead the Rockbridge County High School girls soccer team to a 3-2 home win over Valley District rival Spotswood on Friday night in Lexington.
Also scoring for the Wildcats (5-3-0 overall and district) was sophomore forward Lucy Boller-Pinkham.
With the win, the Wildcats completed a sweep of the regular-season series with Spotswood (2-7-1, 2-5-1).
RC will continue district action at William Monroe on Tuesday, starting with the junior varsity game at 5:30 p.m.
