Fairfield United Methodist Church will present its annual “In His Arms” benefit dinner this Thursday, May 1, from 5 to 7 p.m.
This year’s dinner will benefit Jacob Lynn and his mother, Lauren Derr. Jacob is autistic, while his mother and primary caregiver has been diagnosed with stage four metastatic kidney disease.
The dinner will feature spaghetti, salad, bread and dessert. As always, the dinner will be free with 100% of freewill donations going to the beneficiaries.
This will be the 10th such dinner hosted by FUMC with support from Emory United Methodist Church and Fairfield Presbyterian Church. The dinners have so far raised more than $20,000 thanks to the support from the community.
