Easter Sunday celebrations began in Kerrs Creek with a sunrise service on Hotinger Hill. Pastors Casey and Rachel Clark, along with Karen Duff and Tim Hodges, led the service with worship and music. The day’s festivities continued with breakfast at the church.
The 11 a.m. service had special music provided by Dianne Swink, Calvin Clark, and the New Monmouth Presbyterian Church choir (directed by Vicki Hodges). It was a beautiful day to worship together and celebrate the Risen Christ.
Bible Study will meet on Wednesday at 5:15 p.m.
On Sunday, April 27, we will collect the 4-cents-ameal offering that benefits the food pantry. Lay leadership training will take place on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Anyone who is interested in helping to lead worship is encouraged to attend.
The next Lunch Bunch gathering will take place on Tuesday, May 13. We will have a potluck lunch at the church pavilion. All are invited to come enjoy time of fellowship together.
