Mountain Gateway Community College will hold its 58th commencement ceremony on Friday, May 9, at 6:30 p.m. in the Convocation Center.
Graduating students are required to report to the Moomaw Center by 5:30 p.m. for check-in. A mandatory graduation practice for all participants will take place on Friday, May 2, at 10:30 a.m.
Students earning academic honors will have those distinctions announced during the ceremony, and honors will also be noted on official MGCC transcripts.
The event is open to the public. Tickets are not required, and doors to the Convocation Center will open at 5:30 p.m. for general seating.

In addition to commencement, MGCC will host its nursing pinning ceremony on Wednesday, May 7, at 6:30 p.m., also in the Convocation Center. The pinning ceremony will also be livestreamed at:https:// youtube.com/live/2DZDgLDYKO4.
