Glasgow

Carolyn Bradley, 540-258-2720 The number of vendors signed up for the Spring Vendor Event is increasing. If you are interested in taking part in this event, but haven’t gotten your application in, I urge you to do so by April 25. Stop by Town Hall to pick up an application. You can also contact me, the market manager, at (540) 570-0919. A vendor meeting will be held on the April 25 at 11 am at the market building. This is for those taking part in the opening event on May 3, and for all interested in taking part in our regular Farmers Market, which opens May 9. Some changes in the regular market season will be discussed at this time.

This boat represents a piece of history for Glasgow.

A new timber frame pavilion has been erected behind the Thompson Center to replace the old pavilion that had fallen into disrepair.

This correspondent got to spend part of Easter weekend at Carilion Rockbridge Community Hospital with back issues. I’m at home recuperating, feeling much better.
