The Destination Imagination Team at Fairfield Elementary School placed first at the state competition on March 22. There are four members on the team and they are currently working to earn enough money to go to the Global Destination Imagination Competition in Kansas City, Missouri. It will be held over Memorial Day weekend, May 22-25. In the photo are (from left) Brooklynne Ricker, Braelyn Ayer, Cathy Whitesell, Luca Beristain and Abel Via. Their team name was “The Clever Spaghettios” and they competed in the scientific challenge. Donations can be sent to Fairfield Elementary School. After spring break, beginning April 21, the team will be selling raffle tickets for a variety of items at $5 a ticket. Team members will be selling tickets and they will be available in the front office as well.
