The next meeting of the 4-H Stockman’s Club will be Monday, April 28, at Ingleside Trout Pond, 2322 Bluegrass Trail. This is also known as Ashland Farm Pond (Glick’s Pond).
Jennifer Leech will talk briefly on their trout farm operation and then attendees will fish. Beau and Jennifer Leech are allowing each 4-H’er to catch two fish to take home with them. Dave Demsky, former owner of Buffalo Creek Trout, will be there to show and help the 4-H’ers dress their fish. Attendees should plan to bring something to haul their catch home in. If parents want to fish or the kids want to catch more, the fish are $6 a pound.
Those who have fishing poles are invited to bring them along; if not, the Leeches have three available to use, along with a tackle box.
