Trudy Melvin, current chair of this year’s local Virginia Garden Week event, will speak at Oxford Presbyterian Church following the regular service on April 13, starting at approximately noon.
Area residents are invited to hear her interesting stories about the five Lexington homes that will be on this year’s tour on May 2. The tour is sponsored and organized by the Blue Ridge Garden Club. The garden tours that take place here and across the state that week benefit public gardens in Virginia.
