The Rockbridge County High School girls soccer team earned its first win of the season by beating Valley District rival Spotswood 3-1 on Tuesday night in Penn Laird.
The Wildcats (1-1-0), coming off a 5-1 home loss to district rival William Monroe in the season opener on Friday, will continue district action at East Rockingham on Monday, with the varsity game only at 5:30 p.m.
