Bank of Botetourt has announced the ninth annual “Focused on You” community scholarship, which will provide $2,000 in financial assistance to local students.
Three scholarships will be awarded: one for $1,000, one for $600, and one for $400 to support students in their pursuit of higher education. Eligible applicants include high school seniors and current college students with a GPA of 2.50 or higher who maintain an active banking relationship with Bank of Botetourt.
Applicants must submit a twopage essay addressing the topic: “How has Bank of Botetourt helped meet your family’s financial needs, and what difference has the bank made in your community?”
