The benefit powder puff football game last week at Rockbridge County High School provided a lot of excitement and was the result of work by a large number of students and faculty members. The game was planned by Robyn Sherman’s Hospitality, Tourism, and Recreation Level 1 class. Current and alumnus members of the FCCLA sold tickets, the culinary classes sold concessions, and Jessika Crance’s classes designed the t-shirts. SCA members provided commentary, football coaches Martin Cox and Dan Fallen officiated and the athletic department and administrative team provided support. “The atmosphere at the event was amazing,” said Sherman. “We were one coming together as a Wildcat family. It was a great day to be a Wildcat.” (Stephanie Mikels Blevins photos)
