Due to the forecasted rain from the remnants of Hurricane Fiona, the county’s household hazardous waste collection event slated for Saturday has been rescheduled for Saturday, Oct. 15. The event will be combined with the previously scheduled shred event at Maury River Middle School that day, from 8 a.m. to noon.
