Wanda Webb Watkins, 69, of Natural Bridge Station died June 21

Wanda Webb Watkins, 69, of Natural Bridge Station passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at CarilionRoanokeMemorialHospital surrounded by her family.

Born March 8, 1953, in RockbridgeCounty, she was a daughter of the late Walter Lee Stinnett and Virginia Camden Stinnett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Donald Ray Watkins and Wayne Webb, and an infant son, Christopher Dorey.

Wanda was a caregiver with Open Arms Haven and had worked at Mohawk Industries for many years. She was a tough and courageous woman who took whatever life threw at her in stride.

Surviving are her children, Teresa Tomlin (Jeff), and Jeff Dorey (Lori), both of Buena Vista; the special person in her life, Clinton Dorey; grandchildren, Justin Leech (Destiny), Morgan White (Andrew), Jonathan Humphreys (Becky), and Amber Smith (Dylan); seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Grace Holstein, Patricia Beard and Kathy Camden; and brother, David Camden.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, June 24, at Harrison Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Terry Bostic. Burial will follow at NaturalBridgeBaptistChurchCemetery.

Friends may gather with the family from 5 to 7 Thursday, June 23, at the funeral home.
