STEVE NELSON BROWN

Steve Nelson Brown, 69, of Lexington died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2022 at his home.

Born March 18, 1953, in Lexington, he was a son of the late James William Allen Brown and Norma Grey Blackburn Brown.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Paula Sue Paitsel Brown.

Steve was employed with Rockbridge Farmers Co-op and Moore’s Plumbing for many years. He loved racing and enjoyed farming.

Surviving are his daughter, Tasha Johnson and her children, Brendan Johnson (Kayla), Marcus Camden and Elijah Camden; one greatgrandson, Lincoln Johnson; a son, Coray Brown and his children, Bryson Brown and Ava Brown; two brothers, Rocky A. Brown and Tony G. Brown; and three sisters, Betty Sue Moore, Dora Jean Nuckols and Dottie Marie Paitsel.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at Harrison Funeral Home. There will be a private ceremony at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the charity of your choice.
