Following last week’s amendment to Executive Order 72 by Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam, both Rockbridge County and Parry McCluer high schools have expanded their spectator capacity limits for spring sports. Both schools will allow 500 spectators at each of their outdoor facilities. Spectators are encouraged to follow guidelines to safeguard against COVID-19, including wearing a mask, getting vaccinated and social distancing from those not in the same family unit. Following the governor’s recommendations, more spectators are expected to be allowed starting May 15.
