Sandra Bryant Smith, 49, of Buena Vista, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019.

Born Jan. 25, 1970, in Lexington, she was a daughter of Dorothy Johnson Bryant and the late Earl Thomas Bryant.

Sandy was a member of Lexington Pentecostal Holiness Church where she was a youth leader, Sunday school teacher, and praise and worship singer. She loved camping and going to the beach. Her family meant the world to her, and nothing made her happier than a good joke. Her laugh was contagious.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Anthony Lynn “Tony” Smith; stepdaughters Kristi Driscoll (Patrick), Carrie Lineberry (Dennis Jr.), Kasey Lineberry (David), Caitlin Smith, with a combined nine grandchildren, all of Buena Vista. Also surviving are siblings Kathy Wallace (Tim), Stephen Bryant (Kimberly), Dreama Wallace (Bruce), Keith Bryant (Sue), Donna Beck, Joyce Zimbro (Tommy), Douglas Bryant (Frances), Sherry Riley (Benny), and a sister-in-law Karen Flint (Jimmy), and countless nieces and nephews that she loved as her own.

A funeral was conducted Monday, Dec. 9, at Harrison Funeral Chapel by the Rev. George H. Close Jr.
