SANDRA GLADWELL

Sandra Jane Gladwell, 69, of Lexington died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020, unexpectedly at her home.

Born Nov. 13, 1950, Sandra was the daughter of the late Marvin L Gladwell Sr. and Nannie Davis Gladwell. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Gladwell.

She was a retired nurse from Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital in Lexington and a member of Collierstown United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Marvin Jr. and Velma Gladwell, of Greeneville, Tenn.; two nephews, Lee Gladwell (Vivian) and Michael Gladwell, both of Greeneville, Tenn.; one niece, Melissa Gladwell, of Charlotte, N.C.; and one special great-nephew, Adam Gladwell, of the U.S. Army, Ft. Bliss, Texas.

The family will hold a memorial service at Harrison Funeral Home on Saturday, Dec. 5, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Bill Bearden officiating.

In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions can be made to the Rockbridge Area Relief Association food pantry at 350 Spotswood Drive, Lexington, VA 24450. N-G
