RTA/RARO To Hold Second Tennis Clinic

The News-Gazette

Friday, July 5 –  Because of the popularity of the youth tennis clinic in early June, the Rockbridge Tennis Association is teaming up with the Rockbridge Area Recreation Organization to hold a second two-week clinic weekdays, Monday through Thursday, from July 22-25 and July 29 to Aug. 1. The clinic will take place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. each day at the lower Washington and Lee University courts.

The first week will focus on skills, and the instructors plan to teach the youths how to play games during the second week. The cost is $15 for players age 6-17, who will be grouped by age and experience. RTA provides rackets for use by the player. Children with perfect attendance will receive a free racket.
